As the eminent Czech Byzantinist and our esteemed colleague, Dr. Vladimír Vavřínek, died on August 14, 2024, we would like to dedicate the next issue of Byzantinoslavica to him on the occasion of his 95th birthday anniversary and reserve the Notices section for the memories of his colleagues and friends.
